Walk Description
Parking at Shenval we cross a bridge over Alt Seanabhaile and continue on good track with gradual ascent through Shewglie Wood, where recent harvesting has taken place, eventually coming out onto open moorland. We pass a large cairn to the Battle of Caire Buidhe which took place on 27 June 1689. Still on good track to bothy, then on rough ground for a short distance until we meet the path going southwest to Loch Aslaich. Return is by outward route. This will be walked at a slow pace.
