Walk Description
Approximately 2 miles past Aviemore on A9 before the south bound junction, turn right at signpost for Lynwilg, cross the bridge and continue on single track road parking at gates adjacent to Allt na Criche Outdoor Centre. Limited Parking. Route commences on good estate tracks ascending An Gleannan eventually emerging into open hillside. At the watershed and memorial cairn we commence the gradual ascent to the broad summit and cairn of Geal-charn Mor. The descent is by the outward route. We continue north on rough hill tracks with a slight ascent to the summit of Carn Dearg Mor, descending into An Glennan and returning to Allt na Criche.
