Walk Description
Stac Pollaidh is a truly iconic mountain. From the public car park we climb steeply from the outset following the circuit to the back of the hill before branching off (even more steeply) to the summit ridge. After enjoying truly spectacular views (crossing fingers that the weather is clear) we return to the main path to complete the circuit. The walk is short but energetic, but we will take our time to savour the views. An early start is recommended so we can secure parking space. The path is rocky and requires care. The ascent to the true summit involves serious scrambling and is beyond the scope of this walk.
