Walk Description
Starting from Logie Steading, we head north through forest and farm tracks to Sluie. The return upstream along the river overlooks the majestic Findhorn gorge. Continuing upstream, we briefly join the road to cross the Dorback burn. A short steepish section takes us to a viewpoint at the Doune of Relugas prehistoric fort, before we re-join the river bank as far as Randolph's leap. The return to Logie Steading is by track and quiet country road. Refreshments are available. This is a charming walk which presents little technical challenge. The gorge sides are however steep and the river is a long way down. Whereas the path along the side of the gorge is good, this may not appeal to those with no head for heights. With this in mind, the walk has been graded 'B'.
