Walk Description
This challenging walk begins from where the narrow Glen Loth road crosses the Sletdale Burn. A gate in the deer fence (which we may have to climb) leads onto the hill. Following rough track then open moorland we ascend steeply to Druim Dearg, after which a further steep ascent leads to Beinn Dhorain then, over short springy heather, Ben Uarie. After enjoying the view we retrace our steps to the start point. On a good day, this walk offers a spectacular outlook over the coastline, surrounding hills, and the Strath of Kildonan.
